MMST 163 - 3-D Character Animation: Complex Lighting and Materials
(No prerequisite.) This class focuses on 3-D lighting and how to dress it for believability, including atmospheres and particle systems, as well as special effects such as glows, flares, and blurs. The course develops skills in setting up lights, atmospheres, particle systems, and cameras, in building believable textures, and in creating environments for 3-D animation or game play. (CSU)
